Applying Yin to Yoga Yin Yoga Training

SLOW DOWN AND GO WITHIN

“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” —Lao Tzu

Teach yourself and/or your students to slow down, relax, and turn inward. Learn the ways that the body and mind can stretch and surrender toward a greater range of motion.

Join teachers Kiesha Battles and Candace Jennings for a weekend program as they share their experience and knowledge of Yin Yoga and provide you with the tools to comfortably apply the physical, mental, and energetic benefits of the practice.

Through meditation, lecture, discussion, and daily practices, you will examine

  • The history, philosophy, and main poses of Yin Yoga
  • Accessibility and prop use
  • The elements, seasons, and emotions associated with traditional Chinese medicine
  • Mindfulness meditation practices
  • How to plan an intentional Yin Yoga practice.

Return home with the newfound knowledge of how to alleviate stress and balance your energy levels.

NOTE This program is suitable for all including yoga practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of the practice and yoga instructors who want to expand their knowledge of Yin Yoga.
